Following a fantastic tour in Australia which included performances in Sydney and Melbourne as well as two charity concerts, Alexander is very much looking forward to joining the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra with Maestro Jurowski this week. They will be performing Rachmaninov's 3rd piano concerto.

April 13: Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory with Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Liss conducting (Rachmaninov 3). This concert is in memory of one of Alexnader's mentors Nikolay Petrov who passed away recently.
April 17: Recital at the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory
April 18: Recital at the Kremlin (dedicated to Nikolay Petrov)
May 13 until June 4: A concert tour with Neeme Jarvi and Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. They will perform the complete Rachmaninov Piano Concerti and Paganini Rhapsody. All together there will be 8 concerts (15, 16 , 17 May and 27, 29, 30, 31 May and June 3).
May 23 and 24: two concerts with Rotterdam Philharmonic playing Stravinsky Capriccio for Stravinsky festival. Conductor Pietari Inkinen.
June 16: Recital at the Master Piano Series in Concertgebouw.
July 1 and 2: Spread over two days, the complete Rachmaninov Concerti and the Rachmaninov Rhapsody in Taipei with Taipei Symphony Orchestra.
July 17: Recital at the Chautauqua Institution in NY (this will be Alexander's 8th consecutive visit there)
July 20: Rachmaninov 3rd piano concerto with Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra
November 10: Brussels National Orchestra playing Rachmaninov 3rd piano concerto and the Rachmaninov Rhapsody with Andrey Boreyko conducting.
November 16: Recital in Gdansk, Poland
November 22: Christchurch Symphony Orchestra in NZ playing Gershwin Blue Rhapsody with Tom Woods conducting
November 28: Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra playing Rachmaninov Rhapsody with Carlo Rizzi in Pool
December 26: Rachmaninov Rhapsody in Moscow Tchaikovsky Hall with Kazan Orchestra
January 18 and 19: South Netherlands Orchestra and Mark Wigglesworth, Rachmaninov 2
January 30: Lutoslawski Quartet in Poland
February 6 and 7: Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Opera House, playing Bach f minor and Mozart Concerto
February 10 - 16: Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Rachmaninov Rhapsody
February 20: Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, Sascha Goetzel and Prokofiev 3rd piano concerto

March 26 to April 7: Rachmaninov project in Vancouver with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Bramwell Tovey. Playing all of the Rachmaninov Concerti + Rhapsody
April 10 and 12: Prokofiev Concerto no.4 for left hand with Milano Orchestra dei Pomeriffi Musicali and Antonello Manacorda conducting
May 23- 28: Oldenburgischen Staatsorchesters, three concerts playing Tchaikovsky 1 or one of the Rachmaninov Concerti. Eckehard Stier conducting

Dear Friends,As we near towards the end of the year, I wanted to share with you a brief update of Alexander's upcoming concerts for you calendar.Alexander is currently on tour in Moscow and is looking forward to diving into the depths of Prokofiev's 2nd piano concerto. The concert highlights the opening of Maestro Spivakov's Russian music festival with the Russian National Philharmonic.Following his concert in Moscow, Alexander is will be returning to the United Kingdom to perform Rachmaninov's Paganini Rhapsody with the Bournemouth Philharmonic.Please note, the concert in Gdansk, Poland has been postponed to November next year. More details about the new date to come soon.December will be marked with another trip to the Netherlands where Gavrylyuk will perform the Bach f minor Concerto with the Amsterdam Sinfonnieta and a number of solo pieces. This concert will take place at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.Alexander's last engagement for 2012 will be a tour with the Stuttgart Philharmonic and Maestro Vladimir Fedoseyev with Rachmaninov's 3rd piano concerto. The tour wil cover concerts in both Milano, Italy and Stuttgart, Germany.Alexander's new invitations which have recently come through include: the Brussels Philharmonic where Alexander will perform once again with Maestro Boreyko,the Israel Chamber Orchestra with Mozart piano concerti No.11 and No. 23.,the Radio Philharmonic of the Netherlands,the Hague Philharmonic,Sydney Symphony Orchestra for both a concerto and a recital at the Sydney Opera House,the San Antonio Orchestra andthe Chautuauqua Instituation in the USA.Wishing you all a very safe and happy festive season!Best wishes,Zorica

***In May 2013 Alexander will make his debut with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande on a concert tour with the complete Rachmaninov concerti and the Rhapsody, conducted by Neeme Järvi.
***He will also be returning to perform with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Jurowski the same year.
***Alexander has been invited to play with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Charles Dutoit in 2013.
***Also in 2013 Alexander Gavrylyuk will be returning to play in Moscow with Russian National Philarmonic and Vladimir Spivakov conducting followed by concerts with the Svetlanov Russian State Symphony Orchestra, playing a recital at the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory and a recital at the Kremlin.

Alexander has recently returned from his tour of Japan where he performed seven concerts, including performances with the NHK orchestra and Maestro Ashkenazy. He then continued on to give recitals around Australia before going to the USA to perform at Chautauqua Institution and once again with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.
